I was in my truck.. he coulda got me for obstructed windows, modified exhaust, altered suspension, no front plate, DWAI (Not DUI)..
Or he could have realized that I'm the type of guy that puts officer safety at the front of my mind, by how my actions and words dislplayed my attitude.
What the ******' ****. That's THREE times in a month that I've been cited for criminal violations!!
Three misdemeanors in 30 days, LMAO! That's it, I'm never helping out a single **********er again. **** that. From now on, I look out for number one and NO ONE ELSE!

I had a motorcycle cop do almost the same thing. I was coming off the 405 in the vert, this cop comes out of nowhere lights on, siren blaring, damn near grid locked traffic so I pulled over to the left instead of the right and rolled through a yellow light to do so.
I had the top down and my temp permit was on the dash, instead of glued to the back window, as is required by this state. He pulls his service pistol on me and starts hollering like i'm a deaf mute..."PUT YOUR HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM!" "TAKE YOUR LEFT HAND, REACH ACROSS YOUR BODY, REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION AND THROW IN BACK HERE TO ME!" Now, I have very little tolerance for someone yelling me as it is, and i'm racking my brain as to why the officer has drawn a bead on me, so with those two things spinning in my head and the authority probelms a have had since forever I holler out "WHAT DO YOU THINK I AM, A ******* CONTORTIONIST?, YOU COME UP HERE AND TAKE THE KEY OUT OF MY IGNITION OR JUST SPLATTER MY BRAINS ALL OVER THE WINDSHIELD, EITHER WAY I REALLY DON'T GIVE A ****!" all the while having my hands in plain sight above the windshield line.
After a moment of silence he hollers back "YOUR PLATES ARE EXPIRED I HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING WHO YOU ARE" "THAT COULD BE A STOLEN CAR AND YOU COULD BE WANTED FOR ALL I KNOW" I replied "THAT'S WHY I HAVE A TEMP PERMIT ON THE DASH, MY TAGS ARE EXPIRED BUT THE CAR IS STILL REGISTERED TO ME, WHAT DO YA SAY YOU GET SOME DECAF, HOLSTER THAT SIDEARM, AND THEN WE TALK ABOUT THIS LIKE A COUPLE OF ADULTS?" " BESIDES, I CAN'T FEEL MY HANDS ANYMORE"
After all was said and done and we came back down to earth the officer apologized and I did as well and ended up not being cited for anything, but for a few moments there I was wondering if I was going to make it home, or be a clip on the 11 o'clock news.

you can demand to have the video from the officers car. use that in court to show that you didn't try to run, and that he used excessive force. I wouldn't be suprised if they just dropped everything when you demand the video and don't even go to court...

I hate to be the one to tell you.......I think there is a 12 step program with an empty seat with your name on it.
