They were paid in full on 5/28 they took $1,253 from our account this morning anyhow, overdrafted it fucked our account over and it's goign to take 5 days.

I ******* hate banks the dude on the phone does not understand that there is no place to magically make $1253 to cover the overdraft for 5 days, if I don't have it I don't have it, unbelievable.

Holy **** man that ******* SUCKS!

I been there before once, my insurance company withdrawed twice, and I had barely enough to get by after the first payment was removed, then yeah I had overdraft so I raised the biggest **** storm ever, took all day but I got my money back the next day..

They don't listen when you say I NEED THAT MONEY TO LIVE AND EAT AND BUY GASOLINE you have to keep repeating yourself

Best of luck to you man!

chase manhatten is nationwide, they are a huge mortgage company. Like Colin said they simply do not understand that I don't have any money to cover that gap, I had $140 and that was to last me 3 weeks, now I go negative 1,013.75 and there is no place magically come up with the money while they fart around for 5 days to give me money back.

Ugh..I'm just starting the house buying process....hope this isn't what I have to look forward to.. I hate financial stuff. It pisses me off that I have to APPLY to give the bank thousands of dollars in interest over the next 30 years! I mean, what's the worst that can happen to a bank in a mortgage contract...they get a house and have to sell it for what it's worth if you default on the loan...plus they keep what you have already paid in. I don't see why it's such a big deal to get a home loan since they almost always APPRECIATE instead of DEPRECIATE. I've never felt so like I'm getting raped in my life....

Good luck gettin your loot back from those ******* bro!

My last mortgage was an absolute disaster, there was a couple times where I just wanted to walk away, we ended up staying an extra month and 2 weeks in our apartment. This mortgage is already off to a better start, gave the broker all the pay stubs and all that **** and looks like things are going well.

Raise a stink dude, you should be able to get your money back the next day.

We had a very similar problem with our old mortgage co. I think they said 5 days too. Basically you have to tell them that 5 days is unacceptable. You want that money back today. Ask them if you can go to one of there local offices and have them cut you a check. It was there screw up so you shouldn't have to suffer.

Good luck

Do not, under any circumstances, get a mortgage through Chase.
