So he went and signed up just the other day, took his physical and test already. His fiance is taking all her stuff tommorow shes in a hotel in tampa right now waiting to get it done. Not sure why they decided to go in, its what my friend always has wanted to do but she stopped him from it before. Seems like she wants school and finds this to be the best way to do it(I've offered to pay for some of her school if thats the case already). I dunno too late now names already signed they go out in August maybe sooner.

 

Good for him. All she can do is support him, and thats what she should have done from the start.

Hes going in becuase she is, not for his dreams. Just so they're not appart however theres a chance she wont pass and make it in.. they havent figured out that scenario yet.

Kindness i guess, plus i expect my luck to change soon and i didnt know she was in such a hurry. Shes been wanting me to get a place with her too. Also doesnt seem right to join the military just to pay for school its a waste on all parts.

I was in the Marines and seriously if they are thinking about their education they need to go into the Airforce. I hate to admit it but the Airforce has many more advantages then the Marine Corps as far as money and backing goes. And Marines are a lot more strict and discipline oriented it's not for the weakminded. They do a lot of training but it depends on what they are going in for and where they are stationed at. And who is to say they will be stationed together. A lot of recruiters will tell them anything to get them to sign and nothing is guaranteed. Besides even if you sign and go to bootcamp you can quit at anytime before you graduate without penalty. But if you try to quit after you graduate well let's say your pretty much screwed. Good luck with their decissions. Marines are the best _uck the rest. And yes it is true....
