I love their variety, different from any other fast food joint around here. Burgers, patty melts, coneys (chili cheese...mmmm), breakfast sandwiches, popcorn chicken, fruit slushes, floats, shakes, "sonic blasts" (shake with stuff in it), sundaes, salads, wraps...it's like heaven.
OK- i am an admiited rotard. i was in tx last year for the fourth and i sat in sonic and looked at the fn menu (drive in) and couldnt figure out how to order through their gdamn system... my 20 year old couldnt figure it out either....
i'm headed back again this year (family fourth of july) and want to try it again. any help for the "sonic challenged?"
so i am traveling 2500 miles to be shown up by their system- how sick is that?
You push the red button. A magical voice says something to the effect of "Welcome to Sonic, can I take your order?" Then you say what you want, and a person shows up out of nowhere with your food in hand.
I have yet to figure out how to use the new card swipe thingy, I just let the carhop do it for me.

So if you're already driving 10 hours in a day to watch racing, is it worth it to go 2 hours out of your way to go to Sonic?

yeah, it was the card swipey thing that threw me off. didnt see the magical red button.....

i think it some sort of national security thing by the homeland security dept. they are decreasing communication with third world countries.....
