Freaken Spyware

I used:
Spyware
Webroot
Ad-Aware
All 3 updated and with no interruption. All 3 found errors. All 3 deleted supposed Errors. Did that and barely used the pc only to check Rx7's F/S and perhaps hotmail. Turn on PC today and Ad-Aware finds 48 errors!
I've even been using Mozilla!
Anyone know of a 4th, 5th perhaps 6th way of getting rid of these annoying spyware programs!?! My pc ran mint until now...

Yeah HijackThis is sweet...Better than Adaware,Spybot, CWShredder. Just be careful what you delete cuz it'll find stuff that should stay and put it in the list of things to delete. Another one to try is...**** I forget the exact name...something about Bazooka. That one doesn't delete anything, but scans and tells you what you have and how to manually delete. I hate spyware...

whenever i would try to delete it it would say that I didn't have access to the file
Um...boot to safe mode and do it from there. (F8 before Windows boots up, then choose "Safe mode"). You can also try to open task manager by right-clicking on the taskbar and choosing it, then look through the applications and processes to see if one of the spyware things is running. Stop it and you can then delete the file.
Lots of Spyware is better to delete from safe mode.
System restore is for quitters

2000 pro and XP pro full versions have better security to prevent that stuff... also don't use the internet in admin mode, it's like an empty four lane highway for that **** to bomb down right to your registry keys, once its there it's tough to get rid of w/o alot of keyboard time...
