Hey guys, years ago I had a T2 rx7 which I only had for a short while as the coolant seals went and at the time I needed a car to drive so I had to sell it. Years later I find basically an exact clone of my 88 t2 except for the wheels. The guy is asking $4,000 for it. It does NOT run. Here is a link to his post. I basically got approved for a loan for the car and am ready to get it, however getting a hold of the guy is basically like pulling teeth. His lack of responses and communication is starting to kinda make my spidey senses tingle. It seems like he really isn't intent on selling it as he never gets back to me. I sent him about 5 text messages asking questions I need to know, like when I can come by and look at the car and told him I needed his name and address for the loan agent. I also was looking at a couple other cars, secondly a 97 eclipse gst spyder which is starting to look more appealing as it is half the price, runs and drives good and the guy is easy to get a hold of. Here is a link to the craigslist post for the Rx7 in question. Looking for your opinions suggestions comments. Any ideas why the engine from texas thats in the car may not be running? He says it has good compression. He says he has a replacement slice for the other "built" engine thats in the crate, is that repairable easy? I am at a loss for words on what to do here.

This is an old thread but definitely that was not worth it to buy. There are lot of pretty good deals you can find.
