Forum errors
#1
I appreciate you guys spotting errors, let me give you a run down of where I am at and where I am going from here.
First thing was to locate the persons ip doing this and block him from the server, asses the damage come up with a game plan.
Damage: Everything on Nopistons.com was deleted... everything. I have full backups of the forum as you can already tell, we lost no posts. We did however lose most of the posted images, my backups only go back to October, that's it. Everything else I have, but will need time to locate, re-upload, etc...
For now, there are plenty of errors, please don't post them or IM them to me at this time, when we are back up to speed I will let you know and you can IM me the files.
What happened was someone snagged my ftp password over my home network, then played around with me and eventually deleted the entire site. I have changed the password and will be taking further security measure, nothing is perfectly secure, this just tests our ability to survive a disaster, I think we faired well, no forum data was lost, just pics.
Thank you for your patience in this nerve racking time. It has been very stressful.
