Summer is here! After 3 months of ZERO rainfall we now have our beloved afternoon, oh my god the world is ending, Thunderstorms. They hit EVERY day between 3:00 and 5:00 and last from 30 minutes to 3 hours.

Here is a visual from out in front of our office:

The bulk of the storm is North of us. It will prbably not rain at my house 10 miles south today.

It NEVER rains in L.A??

We are on the verge of of a statewide emergency. We are like 50 points from being rated a desert here. We have been in a nasty drought for over 2 months now.

We need the rain bad. Or else we will be dealing with wild fires.

We had rain 25 out of 31 days in May. Including 5 hail storms!

Send the rain down here Jim, we haven't had decent rain in a long time, this whole week was suposed to be rain, but nothing so far, and the fire is so much fun to smell everytime I step out side since we're only 7-10 miles from where it is. lol

I remember when fireworks were outlawed on July 4th.
