Have you not read and followed the directions contained in Memo #439-B which clearly delineate the methodology for having your name added to the Memo Recipient List?

Find a post in the Northwest section (your mod area), and click "unapprove" at the bottom of the post. It will turn pink, and apparently it disappears to everyone who's not a mod for that area.

I couldn't get it to do that, most of the stuff in my sections are very old though, maybe causing the feature not to work? But I'll take your word for it! : )
