So, I've been pretty much going with video instruction and decided that I had reached a point where I just couldn't go any further without some actual theory instruction and some learning of the scales. So I had my first private lesson today and am working on the scales right now, basically going in a different direction from just learning chords and playing songs.

I took the quarter.

at least you took the quarter right away and not 3 weeks later like usuall
Music theory sucks ass. I mean, learning scales is one thing, but all those funky chords and ****, I hated that. I liked just playing what was on the paper.
