Well i got hired as a service mechanic at a production factory. But they had me doing some bullshit work my first day. They are paying me three more dollars an hour than what I asked just because i can weld. It's a nation wide company but i'm not impressed with the way it's ran. Should I stick it out and see whats next? Or get the hell out of there?

It's the first day, you can't really get a good feel for a place in the first day. As long as they didn't **** you in the butt with a broom stick as part of the initiation i say stick it out.

Stick it out. That'll look really bad on your record by staying at a job for one day. You best believe they will put that in your record too!

Hell, I'd probably come and kick your ***, and I would not even be on the hiring team!

Yer record? LOL what the hell are you talking about? There's no "permanent record" like highschool dude, you don't put the job on your resume no one knows about it. I had a couple jobs I said **** this too after a couple hours.... one was building doors which i got tricked into via an employment agency. yer a moron if you put a job on your resume that you walked out on after one day.

HA HA, uhhhh ok. LOL i haven't heard "permanent record" since i was in highschool. The funny thing is you still seem to be convinced otherwise.

I don't know why u would kick his ***, let's just assume for a minute that the company hired him and he finds the job intolerable or maybe the position he was given doesn't match the job description he was given prior to being employed; by your standard he should stick it out for how long? 5 years? 2? 3? What will it say on his "permanent record" will the employer report to the secret ops record keeping dept that he took a lot of **** breaks?

For example i had a ground support job, when i hired it was supposed to be monday through friday, after the first 5 days this guy tells me I'll be working sat and sun, first weekend i do it, second weekend i ask him if this is my permanent shift he says yes, I load the toolbox in the truck and never look back.

Mind you if they stuck a broom in your ***, you could take em to court, win, get heaps of cash, and never have to work again. I'd take a broom in the *** for that.
