Finally Reading It
I believe the haynes manual also calls them "rotary pistons". Cause that's what they are called. They just aren't pistons like we know them, they just act like a piston because pistons compress and decompress cause thats what they do only ours does it in a rotary fashion unlike "just pistons".

i got it at the library at my school.. beats buying it.. and the library here has a good amount of information on rotary/alternative power plants.. i guess i'll be back there soon..
