Errr the barrel is vented to prevent heat soak...lol...how many varmints per sec or VPS do you plan on killing?!?!

Nice little getter you got there Scott. I am looking at pickin up an AR myself. I have been reading through ar15.com Not sure but I think I'm leaning on the DPMS. I still don't really know what I want but I know I want it before 1/20/09.



Loaded up on the ammo for the ones I do already have.

Good luck, if you order from a dealer dpms is out 6 to 8 months.
