yea flooring it makes it rather hard, i rarely hit 5th (or 6th when i got the 6 speed). its only there for the straightaways, once you get into turns and traffic drop gears.



dont worry bout bouncing of the rev limiter, not only does engine braking in the game make your car easier to control but keeps you ready to launch off the apex.



thats comnig from someone who rarely loses a race, do with the info what you see fit.

goddamn these later (86/111 and on) races are HARD.



Ive spent like a half hour on just this damn race.



Am i missing something? I guess i have to race 100% perfect.

Ok i lied. Traded eclipse for skyline and winnar is me.



Weird how the eclipse has more handling.

I got NFS:U for xmas and the first time I put the disc in my PS2,it wouldn't load,itkept saying Disc Read Error or insert PS2 format disc. So I tried my other games in it and they all worked,and then I used my lens cleaner and tried again. Nothing. So then I hit it. Nothing. Then,I decided to stand my Ps2 on it's side. Somehow,it worked! Now it works fine,whether on it's side or flat. Weird.



Totally awesome game too,I just beat it lastnight.
