My turbo II isn't running, otherwise i'd know how the race would have gone, but i caught a red one up here in denver on the street a few weekends ago. He was rippin in traffic waiting for something worthy.

I was in my 89 colt (4g63 turbo motor swap) and made sure the guy knew I was serious to go. To make a long story short. After screwing around in traffic for 10 minutes, putting my car threw torture trying to keep up. When we finally opened up right next to each other, I went deaf. You have no idea how beautiful those things sound, full throttle, at 8k rpms. I sat dead even with him til the end of my 3rd gear. After that, i just managed to get all of 3 inches on him and we hit traffic. I tell you though, i couldn't hear myself think with that engine wrapped out.

You'll never know how beautiful a ferrari is, until you personally see one move. And i mean really move

Reminds me of the story one of the local dsm guys was telling. He raced a 360 spyder and beat it. The owner gave him a thumbs up and drove off. Although he was happy he won, he said, "that guy loses gets go home in a ferrari, I won and get to go home in a 1g DSM". I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too.

(BTW this is a 10sec DSM)

Ha, last spring I'm cruising down a back road in Lancaster PA. A.K.A. Amishville USA. I pass a mennonite church on my right and for a split second see this bright *** yellow thing in the corner of my eye in the parking lot.... "No way in hell that was what I thought it was..... Not in the middle of nowhere like this!!" I turn around to make sure I was wrong, and my jaw dropped. A blindingly yellow Ferrari 360 Modena with the glass engine cover, and huge cross drilled brake rotors with bright red brake calipers sporting "Ferrari" was just chillin in the middle of nowhere. The absolute last place I ever expected to see an Italian, hand-made pasta rocket!! I think I saw horse n' buggy parked next to it! jk. But it taught me to expect the unexpected.
