I always prefer people who play instruments over those that do not. Not that I don't like synthesized stuff, it just isn't top if the list when I'm choosing. Offspring still remains one of my favorites, except for their stuff before Smash.

And CCR will always be in the top for me. That's the only music I remember listening to as a kid. Damn Tina Turner and California Raisins screwing up their stuff!!!

I am playing the **** out of Offspring right now. I am pretty heavy into older rock and metal.

Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Saxon, Older Metallica (The new stuff is okay but the driving force was Hetfield's neuroses and he has sought treatment so the music ain't as good), Venom, Cirith Ungol, etc.....

I am also a big fan of Pantera (Especially the older stuff from Projects in the Jungle)

I could go on without ever having a true favorite.

you know what, I don't know if I've heard ignition. I did buy the self-titled album, and it sounded like it was recorded in a phone booth. That's the one I was referring to. It's just that smash was the first one I heard, and I bought every CD after that.

The one with the fire on the cover... I don't know what its called either.

I like the phonebooth sound though. I guess I kinda like the crust punk over the cleaner stuff.

NOFX and Lagwagon are two of my favorite bands Ive never heard of antiskeptic though I'll have to check them out. Have you heard of AFI, Alkaline Trio, Starting Line or Rufio? They are pretty good to. I have about 350- 400 punk songs on my computer.
