i saw the trailer at the apple store on sunday. someone had dl it. i went ahead and showed them what real street racing looks like. thanks vosko.

nothing fancy, just the new 6 port bridge against the turbo 2. street racing in plain daylight, it doesn get any more real than that.

 

It was kind of a pain when the movie was filming here cause it tied up traffic

around here for like a month but only if you worked in downtown.

Besides that it was fun I went to the set on one of the days.

Depends on the import. DSMs (including the Galant VR4, 3000GT VR4), Supras, RX-7s, Z,SX,ZX cars, MR2s, a whole plethora of Japanese rally machines, BMW's, Altezzas (the car..), Skylines, NSX'es (too expensive these days tho), I missed a lot but you get the idea. No *****? You're kidding.



Econobox racing is for people with no *****.



Enh, this isnt how import street racing is. Most of them are just ******** in Hondas who talk way too much **** and don't know anything about what they're driving. How many Skylines, Supras, Evolutions do you see out there? I understand..Hollywood and the umpteen glorification factor in order to sell a story. But look what it's doing, people are trying to emulate it. And it's dangerous, and very annoying.

 

Looks just as ghey as the first one. GHEY.

Sure, the plot sucks, some of the cars suck, and I'm sure there will be plenty of mistakes in the script, but, bottom line: There aren't many movies about cars, so we kinda have to take what we can get.

 

Cannonball Run 1 and 2, Gone in 60 seconds new and old, Bullit, there are plenty of good car movies and I really don't think we NEED The Ghey and The Giving.
