You have to tan your friend or he would look like he doesn't fit in. So bare it and share it.

I don't feel right paying money for something I can step outside in get for free

of course, in the hottest of summer here, you can stand in the sun and almost instantaniously feel your skin burning

I say get some spf 15, a blanket, and a good book

I would recommend NOT GETTING A TAN!. Since I am older than most of you, I have started having a lot of friends my age having to have melanoma's surgically removed. Cause: Lots of tanning early on in life. IMHO its just not worth it

yes, this would be the best option.

When I go fishing and stuff, I use spf 45...I look like a freakin ghost on a boat, considering it's like smearing white paint on your skin. But hey, I never burn!

besides, if I do burn, I get this crazy histamine reaction that makes me itch so bad that I want to rip all my skin off. lasts a couple hours, pure torture. anyone else have this reaction?

my dad has the same reaction that I do, but he gets burnt seriously bad every time he goes fishing. I swear he's gonna catch the cancer.

the itchy reaction sucks horribly, but it's funny to watch someone else go through it. I've taken hot showers, cold showers, I've done crazy fast pushups, I run up and down the street....and that was all within like 10 minutes! The second time it happened I just layed on a bed and gripped the sheets for dear life. After that, I started using the spf 45.

Since then, I've learned that you can buy spray-on benadryl that stops the histamine reaction, and supposed to stop the itching.
