I hate shaving, my skin is sensitive and I itch and get ingrowns for a week afterwards... so I tend to get a decent scruff goin.

I shave like once a week, especially if I'm using the motorcycle. Freshly shaven neck + helmet strap = lots of red bumps and pain.



And I've noticed that with the beard, I can go longer without shaving before it looks real bad.

I let my beard grow out during a week at Nags Head back in '96. I haven't shaved it off since, but keeping it neat is almost as much bother as shaving everyday.



Way back when I was at Va. Tech, I just didn't shave for like a year. I was quite a sight.

I try to keep clean, but I usually let it grow out to scruff. That takes about 2-3 days before it's time to get rid of it.

same here. dammit. its irritating as ****, but the scruff is in style right now, so its workin out...
