Evil Forum Members Stealing Our Girl Pics
#15
Uh, fellas, we really need to persue this...
Also, let's block the thread for now, till we can watermark all the photos... I'd be willing to watermark mine all tonight.
I hate to see those guys stealing pics like that, and my sincerest apologies to Hannah.
Grab your guns, lock and load!

The digimark costs some serious cash, I am snagging all the pics right now and am going to get a copyright on them and re-upload them. They only yanked the front page one cause they have to login in to snag the ones in the topic.

here's my plea to Jason:
I'm sure you've gotten a ton of PM's on this, I apologize, but here's one more:
Jason - you really need to take down the pic of Hannah. It really is inappropriate to host those images(any and all of them taken from Nopistons.com). Not only are they explicitly copyrighted, but these people are your friends, forum members, past and potential future customers. I saw your response on the thread that Hannah (7Sweetie) would need to reply to you and you would remove the pic. In my mind, for a professional and courteous man such as yourself, this should be a no question situation. The thread should already be locked and the pic deleted.
Jason, you know it's the right thing to do.
Please just ignore this if the picture has already been removed, and thank you.
Very Sincerely,
Steve Szablya (A forum member and a previous customer of the RX7Store)

Okay, here's Jason's response, and mine again to him.. FYI.
Wow, thank you for the reply!
You're right, it is her pic, it should be up to her. It is noteworthy, however, that in several places on Nopistons.com it is written that the copyright is held by the photographer and the forum, and cannot be reproduced, electronically or otherwise, without consent from both.
As for your question (a very justifiable one at that), there is a very fair and logical answer for this. Let me attempt to make a crude analogy:
You're throwing a party, and you bought 10 kegs of the best beer in town. Your neighbor (your friend), who you respect and hold in high regard, is throwing a party concurrently, but only has wine. Someone at your neighbor's party wants a beer and goes to "borrow" a keg from your house. You would expect that your neighbor would immediately return the keg to you, and reprimand the one who took it, wouldn't you?
I just feel that the Nopistons.com gang is trying to have their own party, and have become a little offended by our respected neighbor's (RX7Club) harboring of our "beer."
Thank you for your attention, I'm sure it is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Steve

Im leaving this up to Hannah. Its her pic and I think if she wants it removed she will say something. Im curious why a few of you care so much? She doesnt. Its not like we are linking it to nopistons.
