Took my Dad to the DR, he has to wait quite a while to get in on short notice. Anyhow, brought the laptop, found a starbucks in an office building, turned the laptop on and BOOM, free internet. Someone is nice enough to lend their network out for the poor LOL

This is even better then sitting at starbucks last week, now I am at a starbucks with free internet!

Not so bad!

See, good things do come to those who wait!

Even if it is for a Doctor.

Uhh, yea. When you open the D-link Air Utility it shows you all available networks and their signal strength, in the building I am sitting in now there is something like 17 of them, then scroll to the right and the ones that have the padlock unlocked are open and you can connect to them. Double click and boom, yer in.

Holy ****, ****** awsome LOL, I'll have to try that. Does the Air Utillity do its thing in real time, or does it have to be refreshed to pick up another new signal?

You can refresh it if you would like, but more then likely you will be booting the system up when you are in a new area and it searches everytime you start it up.
