They seem to be good with getting the order out, but the day after I placed my order, they dropped the price on one of my items. I called them up and they said "sorry, no guarantee that pricing will stay the same".



Personally I think that's a fucked deal.

yes but consider if the opposite happened:



you order something for $14.99, it becomes $64.99, bam you wish they had a "price protection" guarantee...which is what they use to ensure that such a thing doesnt happen. Unfortunately with the good there is always a bad which you have the unfortunate luck of having happen to you.



you could go thru the hassle of cancelling your order and reordering it....

well see thats the thing if you buy it at $69 and tomorrow it goes down to $59, than you are out the $10.

phins called and asked if they would give him the $59 price, they said no, but 2 things happened, he took the effort to call and he goes away mad. if the situation was reversed, say it was $59 the day he ordered it and went up to $69 the day after, he wouldnt call

thats shitty bussiness, my store has a 1 week policy incase the price drops on an item.

well we never had a policy at the dealership about stuff like that but i knew i could snag a customer by making them happy, where my competition would not

Best Buy rocks in customer support, IMHO. I bought my PS2 (Second one ), and 28 days after I bought it they droped the price to $200. They gave me back the $100, no questions asked.
