wow...that sucks...what is the point of license plates in the front?

 

To give you a ticket when you don't have one!

 

So that we can tell Geoff's car apart from Mark's and Mike's.

 

so they can write the number down and mail you a ticket. i'm kinda tired of being looked at like an open wallet myself

I'm glad I don't live in a state that requires front plates. I must agree, they look gay on an FC.

 

I dont have a front plate on my car here in NY, I got a ticket once for it

It was a village ticket so it only cost me $35, the cop did write out the ticket for front plate instead of a 50 in a 30 speeding ticket ( ******* 4 lane road at 2am who can go 30MPH?? ). So I figure the lack of front plate might get me out of a more serious ticket.

I have been "warned" for it 2-3 times, I think when they see im not 17 years old and Im respectfull they dont bother me.

My answer is usually "when I repainted the car the front bracket was bent and rusted and I never got around to getting down to the dealer to get a new one", I think its the honest approach that works.

 

How would I explain the perfect-form front bumper then?

 

I thought cops didn't have quotas?
