HA HA, umm yea I wouldn't get that hopeful. I am surprised you've had that many go south, I've only had the one and I used to play quite a bit. You should start pulling the guts out and figure out what's wrong with them.

well..i work at blockbuster...adn two of them were from there...so they were rented out a lot...and then I bought them for 50..so i've only paid a decent amount for one.

one of them that doesn't work....the tray doesn't come out..and fi you take it apart and place a disk on the tray...it still won't read it.

the second, the laser just doesn't work at all

and the third..whcih was the one I bought new won't read disks anymore, I took it apart and ajusted the white dial thingy and it worked for a while, but won't read anything anymore.

I bought my first PS2 about 2 years ago and never once had a problem with it. Whats seems to be the prob with it. I know or herd sony did something different on the third series of the PS2 to make them last longer and not break, or some **** like that.

Question

the couple out there that work, are slower than a seven year itch, not worth the time till they get bugs worked out, I have an emulator for SNES/Genesis/GBA/Sega Master System/GB/Nintendo and i had one for PS1 and PS2 but they were too slow to be even remotely useful and my comp is damn fast.....
