Emissions Tricks?
#31
I just got through emissions a couple weeks ago after 5 failed attempts. After giving up on everything else I added 2 gallons of denatured alcohol to the 5 or 6 gallons of g2s left in my tank and introduced a huge boost leak into one of the silicon couplers so it wouldnt boost. This brought HC, CO, and NOx all to about 1/2 what the level they were. 25% alcohol and 0 boost is good for clean air.

My Bonez cats are brand new, well brand new when inspected. They are about a year old now.
Everything seems to be working right with the ACV and airpump and everything. Obviously there is something wrong but I do not know what it is so I am going to try replacing the O2 sensor.
I found a place on the web that has the Bosch O2 sensor already with the proper connection for the 87 RX7 so apparently no wiring or splicing is needed and it is only $39.00.

When JT posted the Kick Ash mod, I kinda sat around and tried to figure out what it was. Sadly, I couldn't come up with and answer, but, I came up with an idea about emisions passing.
If it works, 20B's will be able to pass emissions with PP's etc. LOL
Basically though, there was only one drawback I could think off, but I couldn't solve the problem since I don't know much about the parts that it affects. Nontheless, I'm learnding right now.

A diesel in good running condition will win. Every time! It's a visual inspection...
My car comes with no cats from the factory. Some did, but it would have a whopping 28hp!!! Instead of a ground pounding 52hp.

Hell no, there'll be plenty of cutting, welding, and re-routing involved so I don't want anyone trying this and ******* **** up. So, if it works with me, I'll write it up.
