Efini badges are nice. Very different also. I have one, just don't want to put it on the FC yet.



Efini was only offered in Japan. I thought that Efini was like a model. Like we have TII's,GTU's,GSL-SE's and the Touring and R1 R2 etc. And the Savannas were offered in Australia. In the recent RXTuner magazine it has a small article on an '82 Savanna with the mirrors on the front fenders. Very different.

 

the 13b-re is just what we call the cosmo engines because its less confusing, the factory calls all of the fd and cosmo engines -rew. rew stands for rotary engine twin turbo.

 

so why isn't it RETT then?

1st & 2nd Gens were sold under the Savanna badge, while 3rd gens had Efini and eventually Mazda in '98.



Rather than being a Mazda RX-7 Efini, it was Efini RX-7. FC's had Infini model, instead of as a brand.
