Calling all experienced Linux nerds:

I have two HDDs. XP is on one and I'm going to install RH 8.0 on the other, momentarily; however, I want to know how I can dual boot. All the tutorials I've read are for OSes installed on the same HDD, but that's not the case with me.

Any advice?

I didn't think you could do that because of the fact that one hard drive has to be the master and the other the slave.

same procedure whether they are on the same drive or not.

Master and slave has nothing to do with the OS it is only a way of identifying 2 different drive on the controller.

Yea you have to install Windows first, then Linux, Grub will be your bootloader it will let you select from windoze or Linux.

If you mess anything up and can't boot to windoze, just put the win disk in and select repair, no worries.

Naw all you can do is hose the boot manager, which can easily be fixed from the windows install disc, no worries.
