We cant put a cone or anything on him because it will rub on his neck. we just have to keep an eye on him and stop him scrtching. everytime he scratches it, it bleeds more. he's all sad.

Yeah man, that is a good looking dog. I hope all works well with the wound. Thought I would toss in a photo of my Great Dane.

Thanks for the compliments and well wishes. Dogs become so much a part of your family, it feels like your brother or best friend being sick.

So my dog spent all last night licking his wound didn't he.



I had to clean it up this morning, it was all mucousy and basiclly worse.



I've put a towel around him to stop him licking it for now. I'm gonna take him to the beach later today and get some saltwater in there to kill the bacteria.

I took a good pick of our chessie yesterday, I'll see if I can get it up tonight. We have too many freakin' animals for my taste, but I love the chessie.
