[rant]I find myself saying, "oh, I forgot" way too much. It annoys me, and gets me trouble sometimes.



I was supposed to meet my wife, son, parent inlaws, cousin inlaw, and friend for lunch at some special restaurant at the university's stadium club. I'm halfway through my lunch hour, standing in line at Subway, and she calls my cell phone. ****. So I call my work, tell clerk girl I'll be late and to tell boss. I drive there. There's only one visitor's parking lot, and it's full. All the other spaces require decal. I drive around for about 15 minutes, then call my wife's cell and complain. Finally guest parking opens up. We get seated, I order some tea, down it, order food to go, and tell my wife to bring it to me later.



So my wife's upset because I forgot about the posh lunch. I'm sure my boss is upset because I was late, and didn't tell him ahead of time. Then I go to leave the parking lot, and it costs a dollar. I don't have a dollar in cash. The restaurant was supposed to stamp my ticket, but I forgot that. So I get 3 quarters, drop one down my e-brake shaft, and hand over the other 2. The attendant lets me know some stuff, and lets me leave.



I feel like ****. But my wife is bringing me lunch (yay!). [/rant]

I HAVE ONE...that's the sad thing...I keep forgetting it in a car, in my bedroom...

I think everyone would be jealous of my coolness, and I wouldn't be able to deal with the stalkers.





It's cool, though. Edna brought me creme brulee' cheesecake with a smoked turkey wrap.



And the boss said, "if anyone needs me, tell them to call my nextel" which means, "I don't feel like being here, and I don't want to get in trouble" ...so he's out of my hair for the day, and I can eat in peace
