NO. look close there are no holes in hood that **** is just bolted to the hood..If you look at it It kind of looks like the **** on the hood of a couple of cars in the Road Worrier

Carbs are bolted to a flat plate, offset from pipe welded to same flat plate! How do you suppose air could possibly get from one to the other?!?

My theorey is that it is in fact a pidgeon mincer. It may not be ther perfect setup for racing, but those carbs are in an ideal position for catching birds, and those turbochargers are perfect for sucking them through that very dodgy looking plenum chamber, under the bonnet to where there is not an engine, but a machine that shoots cans of liquified birds out through the exhaust pipes.
