nice to see you keep an open mind.

My mind is open 24/7! In fact, I agree with the Democratic Party on several key issues, among them the "right to choose" and the importance of protecting the environment. But as a degreed business professional with a number of courses in Economic theory under my belt, neither myself nor any of my professors could ever make sense out of the tax and spend policies of the Democratic Party.

Yea it's so open that any economist that doesnt agree with the right is a fruitcake and uneducated.

I guess someone should have informed Harvard or the AEA that JK Galbraith got his credentials from a cerial box and was a fruitcake before they made him president of their oranization.

Meh! Galbraith's election to the presidency of the AEA dates back to the McGovern era--1972. There was plenty of impetus to the spread of liberalism in the Vietnam era. He was always considered a renegade. There's always an exception, it simply proves the rule--Economic Science runs contrary to the spending policies of the Democratic Party.

It also bears mentioning that Galbraith is a Canadian and was "educated" at Berkeley.

I'm personally impressed that "a few" classes on a subject are able to make anyone an authority on any subject let alone one based on theory.

But you win, there's no way I can keep up with a "degreed business professional" I don't even know any with that type of license, or certification, see i dont even know what they call that type of documentation. Unfortunately I only get invited to the left wing party's and we all know they are a bunch of uneducated, blue collar idiots with no direction except to leach off the hard work of the rich hard working degreed business professionals..

ps, could you keep your words to two syllables i can't keep up.

boy I wish i knew a left-wing degreed business professional i could talk to, but they prolly dont exist.

The worst thing that ever happened was letting woman vote, am i right or am i right... hell yea you know i'm right, politics should have been left to educated white men, preferrably ones that were unsuccessful as lawyers and ended up in politics.

god i miss the good old days when women couldn't vote, gays stayed in the closet and minorities had their own water fountains!

See what happens when you let the bleeding heart liberals get the majority, ******* uneducated left wing fruitcakes, god i hate them.

Good news though, america is winning the war on the environment! Thank got the reps have done something right. I wish we could send a giant drill up and drill right through the ******* oone, we'll show it we're america and no one, not even some ******* imaginary layer protecting us from the sun can change our ways!

Aw, Phins. Don't get sore. It's all good fun.

My degree is a B.S. in Finance from Va. Tech. My job at the moment is raising my two sons. I hardly consider myself an expert in Economics. In fact, I think I can safely avoid the "expert" label in any and all areas of endeavor.

Oh, and didn't you know? The left-wing parties are attended by all the white-collar, highly educated people. It's the right-wingers who are mostly ignorant blue collar hicks.

Let the democrats field an economist in the next presidential election and I'll vote for him!

Yea well it's nice to see someone has a sense of humor around here. I consider myself an expert on the economy, here's what I know. Every week my dollar goes a little less further then it did the week before and that makes me feel sad. and poor.

Actually to be honest i dont get invited to any parties.

They're magically delicious, you know.
