Thumbs up

Hello, ok here is the thing. I have a really good friend of mine, best friend really, we have feelings for eachother and all and we consider ourselves together but....latley he has been distant, no kisses, "I don't care" hugs where he just kind of taps you on the back and he just basically seems to me that he is no longer wanting this relationship. He will probably be going away later this year, for school and such. Should I just give him his space and go on. Just want some advice, because i can't seem to make him smile anymore. Thanks for anything you can give me.

Welcome to the forum.

I would say let it go, since he seems uninterested, and he'll be leaving soon. But you should really talk to him about. Open communication works wonders.

I agree with baldy. Try talking to him. You never know. Maybe he has some other issues, but it's worth a shot. Chances are however that you're going to need to let go, especially if he's leaving anytime soon.

I was thinking the same thing, but figured I'd respond anyway.

Hey, we're better than Dear Abby. You can get quick answers without waiting to see the response in the paper 6 months later.

And we can be brutally honest. And sometimes just brutal.

If you still have the hots for this guy, just be sure you're prepared for the worst before you bring it up.

Prepare for the worst. Hope for the best. Enjoy.
