Hey guys, well i'm a fan of Disturbed, and well if you live under a rock you prolly didn't here that the new video "Prayer" won't be aired on mTV, or any other video syndication... Supposedly it shows images of the September 11th attacks, and such.... *sigh* society...



Anyways, I was wondering what you think of the video... post your thoughts and your feelings on the video... you can watch the video here..

video is cool. some ppl are stupid.

 

MTV is not about art. They're about money and dumb chicks who dig Blink and Nsync. As far as Disturbed goes, I can't see why anyone would want to listen to them, but there's no accounting for taste. They have every right to make the kind of video they want, but MTV is not obligated in any way to play it. As a business, not a public forum, they only do what will make them the most money and cause the least amount of hassle.

i like the video. Ive seen it on much music twice now.

 

Censorship sucks, but then again so does MTV. Disturbed rocks, vid was good.

 

Ya the vid is definatly sweet, sad they won't show it everywhere...



I'm seeing Sevendust, AudioVent, Earshot, Unwritten Law, and some other local bands sunday, and plan on attending the KoRn, Disturbed, TRUSTcompany POPSUCKS tour in tampa later also...

 

Its not like the government came down and said the video couldn't be shown. As a business, MTV can do whatever they want in regards to showing videos. It may suck, but what can you do? Write a letter if you really feel that put out by it.



Otherwise, stop whining.
