Ive never been to Disney World. its on my list, everyone tells me its great. I love Disneyland. Just went a few months ago and was able to get reservations for Club 33! Waay Cool.
I don't know if it's true, but I heard that Disney Land could fit in Disney World's parking lot. Disney World is ******* HUGE. Of course, that includes all the different parks together.

edit: Satellite view of Disney World parking lot. Satellite view of Disney Land.

Looks pretty close!

One thing I love about the Nation of Disney is that nothing is half-assed. Anything owned by Disney (half of everything in Florida) is top-notch, they don't endorse shitty hotels or have shitty restaurants. Everyone is friendly, all the food is great, you never see a single speck of trash. Everything is organized, you can't get lost, and the logistics are great: you park your own car, get on a tram, take a monorail or a ferry to the park of your choice. If you lose your car, they probably have you on video surveillance exiting your vehicle. They even scanned our fingerprint on our way when we went in January, kinda freaked me out, but still impressive.

The only Disney park I never want to go back to is Blizzard Beach. Nothing like seeing men from 20 different countries in speedos, along with the occasional nude child.

When my kid's old enough, or if we go without him, I'd like to do the underground tour, where you get to go on a tour of the whole underground system at Magic Kingdom where the employees hang out and get around the park. I think no one under 16 is allowed on the tour.

We had a great time! We didn't ride anything "thrilling", since my son hates that stuff for the time being (he's , and the wife is pregnant.

Animal Kingdom was cool, lots of neat animals you don't normally see in a regular zoo (not that I've seen, anyway). Watching a cheetah prowl around was neat. Those giant bats freak me out.

Epcot is neat, we started off with all the technology crap at the front of the park; Innoventions, a neat ride that showed some new agricultural methods, but the best was Soarin'. You're in a chair with your feet hanging, in front of a giant screen, and it's pretty much just you flying over different scenes, swooping low, between buildings, etc. Nothing scary, it was just loads of fun. I could've done that all day.

I tried "drinking around the world", getting a beer from every country, but couldn't make it. I wasn't totally smashed, but it's like running a marathon while drinking chocolate milk, you just don't feel like you can keep moving. It's hard to drink a bunch of beer while walking for miles in the high heat. I had 6: France, Italy, Germany, Japan, China, and Norway. I would've had Morocco too, but they were all out. Countries I missed were Canada (I spotted Labatt's there), United Kingdom, America (heck, I have that all the time) and Mexico.

Magic Kingdom was the best, despite Mickey's Toontown Fair (an entire section) closed for power outage, and Pirates of the Caribbean (only the most popular ride right now) closed for some reason. We started off later, 4 pm, in order to stay late for the night parade and the fireworks, which were freaking amazing. Best fireworks I've ever seen.

An interesting observation:

Apparently people think that they don't give enough money to Disney, so they have to throw their change at them. There is loose change EVERYWHERE. On the ferry boat, there are 4 large buoys, all are covered with coins. At the bottom of ANY water, there are tons of coins. Any "boat" ride (it's a small world, jungle cruise, etc.), any small bridge on the regular walkways, coins in the water. We walked by a model train set at Epcot, there wasn't water there, but the entire little town was littered with coins. I don't get it. They're not going to charity (like fountains at malls or wherever), and it doesn't look like Disney ever cleans them up. Ridiculous.

I liked POTC when we went in January, the updates make it better than the old version. It's a classic!
