the thermos......in the winter it keeps my coffee hot and in the summer my ice tea cold.....how does it know?

We have one of those "hemmingway" cats, he has what looks like thumbs; each "thumb" has 3 claws on it for a total of 7 claws on each front paw. I'm just glad he doesn't have the detailed motor skills to use them.
