I bought a canon g3 for under $600 a while ago! Best camera for the money. Easy to use and comes with alot of software. I swear by Canon. Good stuff!

 

Sony cyber shot 2.0 megapixel for under $250 and look at the details.

 

i would recommend an Canon A70. badass camera has lots of manual option, and the best thing is that it runs off AA batteries.



i have a sony dsc-p50 and it takes awesome pics...got it off ebay for mad cheap. but im thinking bout gettin a A70 cause its just badass

 

I have a sony cyber shot DSC-P92 that will take 5mp and 45 second video clips with sound on the 16mb chip that it comes with. Has a timer and some other cool features. Came with a charger for the batteries it has. It would also take AA. Cost $500 about 6 months ago.

 

I've been MORE than happy with my Olympus C-4000. I love that thing!

One of my colleagues bought a Fuji S5000 last month and is very happy with it. He is a fairly serious hobbiest photographer. I think the S7000 was a little out of his budget.



Get one at Henry's.
