[quote name='PhoenixDownVII' date='Jun 28 2005, 08:09 PM']Oh, perhaps you missed my point (as most do, I guess my english/writing sucks that bad...)

I never doubt that idea, but the stereotypical christian mentality is usually driven by the Southern Baptist "Your going to hell!" ideal, hardly a good example of what Christ's example was as a true man of God.

Almost every religion believes in hell and most believe that those who do not follow their falvour will either go to hell or be in heaven to a lesser extent then those who don't follow their one "true" interpretation of the bible. NOT just Southern Baptists. It appears you have a bone to pick with Southern Baptists, which is typical. Most deeply religious people are intollerant of other religions, even other flavours of christianity and their followers. Trust me, since I've never met a southern baptist I'm guessing they aren't giving religion the bad name you think they are.

PS. He didn't miss your point, it's just that you didn't actually have one. Babling doesn't count as making a point, you've usually got to actually address the point that the previous speaker made to make an argumentative counter.

You made generalizations about americans and people who take medications and that was ok. I made generalizations about devout religious people and that was not ok......... Typical.

No.

My generalization was a sarcastic response because I know the generalization of me as a christian would be exactly what I said....

And I never said your generalization wasn't okay, it's mostly true, unfortunately, and this is GenD so I was just playing.

Do you get it? That "lazy american" part was just sarcasm, i shoulda done the [/sarcasm] thing. My bad. Seriously, half of this stupid witty stuff is a misunderstanding of when I am just joking/teasing the same way everyone else does, but somehow it's taken too seriously...?

Both you two stay outta my thread!

I went to GNC and the guy wouldn't sell me anything.. Except a multi vitamin that has lotsa B in it. He told me to try that for awhile and see how it goes. It's a twice daily thing and is supposed to help increase my energy levels all day long, and help my muscles rebuild faster the natural way. He also told me I need to be eating more for breakfast and less for dinner - that my nutrition and fitness levels were on par for weight loss, but I needed to re-arrange my eating schedule to promote fat loss. Told me it has more to do with how you eat than what you eat. He explained how he could sell me this metabolizer trio, but the key thing the metabolizer came with is a 14-day meal planner that is setup to burn fat.. And the metabolizer was just a helper.
