And people are like "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE COST OF FOOD IS INCREASING?!"

and it will keep increasing as long as it is more feasable to create your burgerking salad at a plant in flordia from food from kansas, and ship it to newyork all within a the span of a few days.

The price for 91 Octane at the Chevron across from where I work is 4.69 a gallon. It was 4.43 on Monday. Why it went up that much in 2 days is beyond me. I count my blessings my Subaru gets 22mpg, and I don't drive a huge truck.

Is it just me, or should Subaru's get better gas mileage? Hell, my MPV gets 22 mpg--around town. I can get 25 on the highway.

I once owned an Outback, and it sucked. Comfortable enough as an interstate cruiser, but dog slow and lousy mileage. And did I mention unrestrained body roll and abundant tire squeal? Handling was subpar, even by minivan standards.

Sorry. I know some Subaru's are pretty cool. I was just a little disappointed with my ownership experience.

Haha, excuse us while we hijack this thread. LOL. The subaru boxer motors are not exactly miserly on gas. After talking with a few STi owners, im really glad I don't drive an STi everyday. They get FD-esque mileage! If I drive like a grandma, and keep it at 65 mph, I can squeeze 25-26 out of it. It doesn't seem right though, im getting V6 mileage from a 4.

my dd, 06 evolution 9, is rated 18/22mpg. Memorial day weekend I avg'd 28mpg. Still not sure how I pulled that off. I figure 290hp, turbo awd getting 28mpg is sick. Only downside is a measly 12 gallon tank.

my friend's subie impresa L would get 30+ with him beating the **** out of it. Guess 2.2 NA will do that.

my MS3 gets 25-26 in true mixed driving. good enough for me.

Actually, no... I've seen quite a few Subie's with TONS of miles, nothing broke. You just need to keep up with maintenence. In fact a friend of mine was just looking for a beater and came across this early-90's Legacy wagon with 212k ON THE ORIGINAL CLUTCH....
