It is this morning's project and many more to come in repackaging all the diecast model cars into their original boxes in preparation for the move. I thought it was a great idea to have them in a case rather than in boxes, they are detailed very well and need to be displayed to appreciate, but now I wish I hadn't done it.

The stacks of boxes in the attic contain 6 originals per box, there are over 2000 individual cars! I never imagined having this many cars, nor did I imagine having such a short amount of time to move them all.

Come on man, give me a little more credit than that. Had I won the lottery I wouldn't have spent the money on die-cast cars! It is a mild case of obsessive compulsive disorder and 10 years of collecting.

Not yet, but offers are rolling in and there is so much stuff to displace if i don't find a new place to move into soon, I would hate to have to rent a storage facility but I might not have any other option.

You should sell the die cast models and buy a real car.

That might be a nice option if I could get list price at today's value for each car, although I don't know anyone who would step up and buy $30,000+ worth of die- cast cars. I can't believe it is worth that much, I know I didn't spend that much, of course it's only worth what someone will pay for it.

That attic insulation looks like wool, which is a much better idea than the horrible itchy fibreglass stuff we have.

It is fiberglass.. But it's blown in the attic instead of the old-style batting.

lol, it's fiberglass, it's just the blown in type instead of the roll in type. If there was such a rating as R-30 that is what it would be. Definite ovekill, I know, but genetics has made me quite obsessive, something i'm trying to stray away from,

EDIT: Sinful beat me to it, lol
