Haha, you know the funny thing is I'd probably prefer a good lego set to one of those things - especially if you had all that money to spend

The Wii's been a ton of fun so far. A lot of people who don't usually like video games that hang out over here enjoy the hell out of it.

Yeah, I say the Wii is the start of a divided industry: the folks who prefer systems that don't require you to move more than your thumbs, and the folks that like to "interact" with their games. I could see them growing further apart in the future.



I used the example the other day, the Wii is good for those people who would normally yank the controller violently in the direction they wanted Mario to go, rather than calmly pressing the d-pad.

I've always had a tendency to jerk the controller around whilst playin most wanted for example and its a bad habit, specially when your friend leans forward...

I can't recall seeing a version of cricket for any of the video game consoles. Do you have a source? Seems like it would be a huge seller here in the states.
