Good stuff... It's a mix of death metal-like and conventional singing. Music is heavy and can be melodic at times, very tight musicianship too. I'm not really into death metal but this album is great.



Demon Hunter-Infected





Give it a chance, it grew on me after a few listens.

i saw demon hunter a couple months back, they played with, extol, living sacrifice, the agony scene and uses fire....amazing, all the bands were amazing extol is from norway, ive never seen anyone ever play instruments like norwegiens can

I did after I went to their web site, well the followers are. There is a section in their forums called sprituality and faith, but the bible thumpers run rampant all over the damn thing. Still a good album, I wouldn't call them a Christian band. I am a non-believer FWIW.

My quick rant on amazon:



"I saw the video for infected and thought it might be a good album. I picked up the album and gave it a shot. Funny thing was I didn't really think they were a Christian band until I checked out the website. I have nothing against religion in general, it's just the cookie cutter bible thumpers are running rampant on their forum--kinda turns me off to the music. I guess I get something a little bit different out of the lyrics. Some even say it may be satanic, hmmm ok. This non-believer digs the album, I just wish the "thumpers" would drink a little "Jesus Juice" and pipe down. Simply put, the musicianship is tight all around. I give it 4.25/5."

yeah man, theyre a good band, good musicians, religion doesnt make a difference behind a guitar, mic, drumset or a bass...they rock hard either wya man. i didnt know they were until i saw them in a show in arkansas at a club and they were all talking about salvation through god on stage...



but still good music is good music...wether it be christian or secular....most people think christian metal is like stryper or petra...realyl cheesy, if you get into hardcore, most christian hardcore bands are heaveir then most non chsritian hardcore bands..if you dont beleive me chefck out the music of



living sacrifice

soul embraced

as i lay dying

and extol....extol is the most technical band ive EVER seen in person..but theyre from norway, and we all no the swedes and norwegiens are gods of rock and roll of all sorts

As I Lay Dying is very good. I saw the video for 94 Hours, and I was hooked. Had to pick it up. I wish I could play drums like that. Well, I try to. Just the speed and brutality of them. They are a christian band?

christian hardcore can be amazing, check out living sacrifice or zao.

waiting for the song to download. and i found a good ska christian band...of course i didnt realize they were christian until afterwards.



but for some awsome musicianship go listen to a band called children of bodom. id suggest Bodom After Midnight. (wait for the guitar solo)
