So, we decided to blow up fc3s4utnv's old 13B because he just got a brand new rebuild to replace it with.

Might as well blow it up since it's coming out anyway, right?

13B rotor hell

FikseRxSeven 09-25-2005 02:46 AM

you were at 15k?

i wonder if your car would have lasted longer with a better cooling system

defrag010 09-25-2005 02:48 AM

It wasn't my car, it was fc3s4utnv's...

CrassFC3S 09-25-2005 06:37 AM

hahaha "hey my bumpers on fire"

elementalheadrus 09-25-2005 10:44 AM

that wasnt 15k.. didnt even sound like 15k..sick as hell tho..lasts forever and still seems like it could run..minus the car being set on fire

fc3s4utnv 09-25-2005 10:52 AM

It was atleats 12k, my 10k tach was pegged and that is a bit past the last numbers on it. The new motor started but my fuel pump isnt staying on.

rowtareh 09-25-2005 11:25 AM

heh, cool ****!

Il RX8 lI 09-25-2005 11:59 AM

LMFAO at bumper fire and reactions to it.

ColinRX7 09-25-2005 01:14 PM

definately not 15k.. if it was 15k, you should be thankful your clutch assembly didn't grenade and take your legs off..

but kinda funny

what do you expect to happen when you leave a motor revving like that, especially a rotary engine.. think of how hot the exhaust would get

the bumper caught fire from the heat of the exhaust tip, not the flames... i would have been worried about something along the undercarriage catching fire..

Leetheslacker 09-25-2005 02:25 PM

vosko 09-25-2005 03:12 PM

We tried doing just one long burnout but it would run over the wheel blocks and not stay put, Ill post the vid of that in a bit.

To answer the rpm questions it wouldnt go past 9 at first but after I let out the second or third time it rapped way up their.

yea you didnt know? they have built in "super-duper-anti-power-brake-periphereal-nuclear-underwater-subway-choo-choo-never-gonna-get-it-mabobs" in all the models. Except base models built between 08/86/and 10/86, they realized how horrible it was after two months in production and put it in the base models too.
