I'll have to break from the rest of you and say good job. It's a perfectly good engine and the swap looks like it was done well. I think this is the same FC that has been in some teaser vids from DGTA so it's not some poseur ride from somebody that knows nothing of cars but just wanted what was "in". It'll be flogged like the bastard that it is and that's all right by me. I say kudos and huzzah to him for doing this. It's not what I'd do, but so what? As long as he's driving the snot out of it slideways at drift events then that's more than most people do.

I wasnt calling YOUR car worthless, I was calling a non-running
RX-7 worthless. Basically I was, as I ALWAYS do, trying to open
the minds of the people on this board who when they see another
engine in a RX-7 they get all nasty about it and remain closed minded
to someone who has the *****, and the know how, to try something different.

yeah thats why i didnt post it, cuz i didnt feel like dealing with all the crap. expect to see some sweet video soon from this past weekends hyperfest professional drift demo.

i was just joking man, i actually thought about doing that myself about two years ago when i had a blown s4 and a blown 240sx with an sr sitting between them in my shop. I understand your need to be defensive as you've probably caught alot of **** for it already as rotary people are very protective of "their" cars as people like to bust on rotaries all the time as well. I've owned an sr 240 and 3 fcs so i totally understand why you did it. Just lighten up a little bit, it doesn't benefit anyone to be fighting about garbage like this on the internet or in real life. I had no prob with you or your car and i hope we didn't get off on the wrong foot as i will probably coming to so of your etown events later in the summer when my car is more "together" so to speak. We can swap tips on making s4s into fake s5s.
