Well I pretty much screwed my date tonite cause I really wanted to go to the track. Today was the first time I have ever raced my car. It was alot of fun but scary at the same time. I am not posting my times because my reaction times really screwed me over. That and I cannot launch for ****. But I did beat every car I was staged with. They only beat me off the line

On my way out another Rx-7 came in. I turned around and started talking to him. We both got inline to race each other but their was an oil spill on the track and I was already late for my date.

His car was bad ***. Black Fd....Greddy IC, Koyo Rad. T-77 turbo and some rims that look alot like m3 rims!. $17k was thrown on his engine and was all done by the guys in Dallas. Anyway I missed him race but he said the last time he got a 10.9

Any suggestion for a newbie track racer. I need to get this whole launching thing down. First race no launch....Second I launched at 2500rpms and shaved about half a second of my times. I heard it is good to launch at 4500 but I didnt get to try that out

I was more afraid of traction then anything. I have never raced on a track and it looked pretty slippery and didnt want to launch straight into a wall so I took it easy. My times did improve the more I raced but my friend said I was missing the light. Apparently green means go....not when the guy on the side is waving for me to move

haha...its hard to get the light part right...i thin kthe best way to get better at it is to have someone film how your reaction to it is, and after each run see how long you were waiting there after the light went green. did they let you line up on the burnt rubber there? i completely forgot what they were called. but thats where the most traction is, but they might not let you line up on it with street tires.
