How does/do the tree/trees work on a strip like that?
It would be awesome to see who can get to the finish line first...but with handicaps...don't remember the technical term...you know, allowing a car to leave before another and so on.

My friends and I have discussed many times how popular an open track would be...either drag or road course. I'm sure it'd be an insurance nightmare, but assuming you could get out of the liability somehow and allow just about anyone to come race their car for a small fee I guarantee that place would be PACKED Thursday through Sunday. Throw a dyno and a tune/repair shop on the premises and you'd be rich. If I only had millions for startup....
