Thumbs up

My PS2 pissed me off. it ruined my NFS Game. all it does is bring up the first loading screen (only lights up the first box of the 4 and stays there)

anyone know if I can blame sony and get another game that isn't like that? the PS2 still loads all my other games but I lost interest in them since I bought Underground.

OR, how I could fix this problem? I tried useing my CD repair kit and it didn't do anything exept let me bring up the first screen. was giving me "Disk Read Error" before and the PS2 is maybe 5 days old.

ANY sugestions would be appreciated. I only got to run 3 online runs and it just shut off and when I pulled the disk it was scratched to hell.

If the playstation is new, then i would suggest taking it back to SONY, and/or the place of purchase.

My friend was in a similar situation, and it was resolved by taking it back with an explanation.

I know they will take the PS2 back and replace it, but I'm more worried about getting the game replaced. I'm broke as hell and don't have the money to buy a replacement game. and I just got the stage 2 upgrades and couldn't even play around with the car...(hope it atleast saved before it crashed and burned)

The game that became scratched from the PS2 was Grand Turismo, and that was replaced aswell.... There was a known fault (afaik) with the PS2's scratching cd's...

Thanks for the info. I'll have to try and call them. neither of the items are more than 2 weeks old so they should do it, or do you think Wal-Mart will replace them? (thats where I bought both the game and the PS2.)
