ok so im on my way home and i get pulled over by a cop because im riding my atv. so i didnt want to take the main road so i go to a different one and the cop is right there, turns his lights on i stop shut it off, and sit. he goes wuts goin on im like jsut going home. hes like do i know you i told him who i was and he was like ok just go home. he knew me because my stepdad is a fireman.

 

you ddnt get a ticket or anything, so i wouldnt be complaining.

 

i kno im thankful because they have been giving people a hard time lately.

oh and around here you get seen by a cop while yuore riding your atv and you got either a half hour chase or a nice ticket and possible 6 month loss of license......... i've only been caught once since i was 14.

haha id be nice..i just thought it was funny because i was riding for like 2 hours then when im going home i get stopped. i have no problem but ya know they didnt have a problem with people riding till lately

 

You get pulled over for riding ATVs? Or is there more to understand here? Anyways, congrats on getting outta your first ticket . Also, don't hate the cops, they'll probably help you out someday. Just make sure to look out for the motorcycle ones. I was talking to a cop one day, he was pretty cool and was telling me, "Most police have better things to do than pull people over unless they're doing something really stupid. Well, except motorcycle cops, they're out there specifically to catch people. If they pull you over, chances are you're getting a ticket no matter what." That guy really loved high-speed chases...

 

i dont hate cops i have friends that are cops. and no nothing else to understand you can get a ticket for riding an atv in the snow here. they confiscated one once but it wasnt snowing.

 

That seems weird. Is it a state or local law?
