just curious,

does anyone know for certain what the difference is between published curb weight and gross weight?

I figured gross weight would be the entire car (minus driver). Would curb weight be the weight of the vehicle at the suspension level (total weight of chassis applied on the suspension system)?

Well here we have 3 weights it works like this

Curb weight is the weight of the vehicle

Gross is the total weight when at maximum load (full of fuel, luggage, bodies etc)

Aggregate is gross plus total towing capacity
