Credit Cards
#11
I have one Visa card. The same one for 5 years, and don't plan on getting another one. I am satisfied with it, even though it has a high interest rate. Whenever my balance gets big, i save up large sums, and pay it off within a month or two.

My Visa is extremely dangerous LOL ... I can walk up to any ATM with my ATM card (not my Visa) and I have an option to withdraw any amount STRAIGHT from my Visa LOL. Sure it comes in handy but it's very tempting at times

I've had a visa debit card since I've had a bank account, I like sticking with that. But I got a credit card through my bank with a $2k limit, just to pay for the tranny rebuild in my $400 Maxima (which still sits in my yard, not being driven). The cool thing is that I can access my CC account online, and transfer money between my savings, checking, and CC account. Really helps in a pinch.

Call them, and ask them to reduce the interest rate. Seriously, I've had CPA's tell me this, and other financial advisors. And it seems like everyone that I've talked to that's called, they would get it lowered some.

you call and tell them you are going to transfer the balance to another
card, they always lower the rate
I have 6, I rotate them to buy anything I would normally pay cash
for, then pay it at the end of the month, I increased my credit
score greatly this way and opened myself up for larger lines
of credit..... its all a game
