I remember hearing that the average person has something like 14 credit cards. I can't think of any smart reason for this. So how many do you have? (not counting cards that immediately deduct from an account, we're talking debt here)

1 amex - use all the time

1 Visa Gold Card - Have had since '94

Try to use amex as much as possible and pay off the balance every month. Keeps me out of trouble.

We've got 2 one Corporate card and one Personal, we've actually stuck ourselves in a pretty shitty hole with me being jobless for such a long time and $3,500 minimum per quarter for Amy's college, not to mention the ******* hospital bills. One we get settled I'm prolly gonna borrow a large wad from my Dad and pay all our **** off, we were down to almost no balance, then we got hit with all the hospital bills and it pretty much buried us. We'll be making some serious progress over the next 2 months as we won't have the outrageous mortgage and what not.

It's pretty depressing, but I've been much worse off, my ex-wife left me in a real bad situation, after I booted her out I started calling the credit card company's to shutdown the cards and found out she had about 20 or 30 k in credit card ****, I ended up getting her stuck with most of it, but I still had to go through some hoops with the cc co's. I've got a lot of **** going that has my cash tied up, once I get that stuff worked out near the first of 05 I'll be sitting a lot better and breathing a lot easier.

Wow, that was a long story... back to work.

I've got two, and that's a great plenty. I don't have PIN numbers for them so they can't be used to withdraw cash.

I use my RadioShack card (w/PIN) for titty bar money, but only owe about a hundred bucks on that one, so I guess that makes three cards total

I have 3. 2 are paid off, the other I make payments but the balance never seems to change. Guess it works out that way when you have too many other bills to pay.
